SPRINGFIELD – 8,322 new confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases were confirmed by the Illinois Department of Public Health, the lowest daily count the state has reported since the start of the month. The IDPH also reported 47 new COVID-19 related deaths, which included two individuals from Livingston County. In total, 664,629 cases have been reported throughout the state, along with 11,552 deaths. As of Sunday evening, 6,171 individuals in the state were reported to be in the hospital with COVID-19 and 1,206 of those were in the ICU.
