Over $10,000 in steel reportedly taken from Streator factory property

STREATOR – The Streator Police Department say that someone made off with a large amount of scrap steel from a business in Streator. They were called Thursday to the 900 block of North Shabbona Street for a report of over $10,000 worth of scrap steel taken from the Owens Glass property. The incident is still under investigation.
