Your “Daily Dose of Uplift” for January 22nd:
A pair of anonymous donors made a big contribution to several patients at Pratt Regional Medical Center in Pratt, Kansas by paying off their medical bills. The total contribution was $95,000.
“The majority came from one donor but both of the gifts together were 95,000 dollars to help people in need here at Pratt Regional Medical Center,” said Luke Kumberg, the director of patient financial services.
In a twist of coincidence, the mail carrier who delivered the “OPEN IMMEDIATELY” letter revealing the donation was also one of the people who had their medical bills expunged.
