SPRINGFIELD – Governor J.B. Pritzker received his COVID-19 vaccine Wednesday at a mass vaccination site in Springfield. The Governor visited the Illinois National Guard and the Sangamon County Department of Public Health mass vaccination site at the Illinois State Fairgrounds and spoke about how helpful the guard has been in getting shots into residents arms. He then took a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. According to the Illinois Department of Public Health, over 5 million vaccine shots have been given in the state.
