LASALLE – LaSalle’s City council approved of an electric car charging station for the downtown area. Economic Developement Director Leah Inman says the $8,000 station that supports charging two electric vehicles will be ready by the summer time. A location is yet to be decided. After hearing the buzz on LaSalle’s green initiative, the Peru city council is also considering a charging station.
