MENDOTA – If you need assistance in installing a child safety seat or want to check to make sure yours is installed properly, the Mendota Police Department will be conducting a free drive-thru check at Schimmer Chevrolet Buick in Mendota this Saturday. They will have pre-packaged snacks and drinks to share, your chance to win prizes, plus be assured that your child is using a secure seat. The event will be from 12:30 PM to 3 PM at Schimmer Chevrolet Buick south of Mendota along Route 251.
