PONTIAC – The Livingston County Health Department announced they will be making the COVID-19 vaccine available to residents age 18 or older. Since they began the task of vaccinating the public, 13,747 doses have been given, and according to authorities, not one singe dose has gone unused that the county has received. An appointment is required to get your shot, and you can make that appointment at their website, lchd.us. At this time, the LCHD only has the Moderna vaccine available; but they are hopeful to receive shipments of Pfizer vaccine, as well as Johnson & Johnson’s single dose COVID-19 vaccine.
