NBA legend Shaq purchased man’s engagement ring

Your “Daily Dose of Uplift” for April 8th:
NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal was in an Atlanta jewelry store and happened to see a man purchasing an engagement ring for his fiancée. Shaq then swooped in and elected to pay for the ring.
The good deed was captured on camera and soon went viral. Shaq inevitably draws attention onto himself for his size, but he said he does things like this all the time.
“This is something I do every day,” Shaq said, adding that both him and his mom were recently furniture shopping and he offered to pay for a woman who had an autistic daughter. “I’m into making people happy. So, whenever I leave the house, I just try to do a good deed,” he said.
