EARLVILLE – An Earlville Police officer who was involved in a crash during a pursuit over the weekend is recovering at home after being taken to a Rockford hospital. Officer Jesus Alonzo, a part time officer, fractured two vertebrae in his neck and suffered a concussion and other minor injuries. According to Earlville Police Chief Darin Crask, Alonzo spent two days in the hospital and has a long road to recovery ahead of him.
