OTTAWA – A Marseilles man is facing drug charges after an investigation into alleged cocaine sales in LaSalle County. According to the Trident Drug Task Force, 24-year-old Benjamin R. Smith delivered over one gram of cocaine to Trident Agents on several occasions. Authorities say following a several-month narcotic investigation, Smith was arrested on a warrant and is being held at the LaSalle County Jail on a $750,000 bond. Smith is charged with two counts of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
