STREATOR – The old Ritchie Furniture building in Streator is to be transformed into a live performance venue. Resident Siobhan Elias made an announcement to the city council that she and her husband Kevin plan to turn the building on Main Street into a venue that would host local and big-name musical artists. Elias is envisioning a theme related to the era the building was built in. Other hopes for entertainment include comedians, high school performances, and partner with local restaurants for dinner and show nights.
