Meal between two strangers at restaurant goes viral

Your “Daily Dose of Uplift” for April 30th:
Amy Wadford of Magee, Mississippi took her six children to a restaurant. Her son Brekken began to cry, but that’s when a man who was eating alone offered to have him sit at his table.
Brekken immediately stopped crying. The total stranger, whose name was never discovered, and Brekken sat and ate chips and salsa together.
“Brekken was completely content and told him ‘bye’ like he had known him his whole life,” Wadford said.
“It’s the small things… He didn’t have to do what he did but completely made Brekken’s whole day.”
Some people on social media have opined that the comfort between the two perhaps stems from the idea the two knew each other in another life. It’s odd on the surface, but that kind of connection usually isn’t formed in an instant.
