After car crash, a Good Samaritan leaps into bay to rescue a two-year-old

A horrifying situation occurred along the Route 90 bridge in Ocean City on Sunday. It was an accident that left eight people injured, among them a toddler who was ejected from a pickup truck into the adjacent Assawoman Bay.
A Good Samaritan, who chose to remain anonymous, immediately sprang into action and leapt into the Bay to rescue the child, who was still strapped into the car seat.
The child is in stable condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital. The other 7 injured are expected to recover.
