Manhattan Beach residents Pete and Allison Halvorsen planned a fun car parade for their son Luke’s 10th birthday.
After all the cars rolled by, honking and cheering for Luke, a dancing unicorn showed up, busting a move to the song “One More Time” from the movie Trolls: World Tour (Luke’s favorite movie).
The person inside the unicorn costume? Luke’s teacher, Heather Tuttle, also known as “the unicorn teacher.” Tuttle preaches individuality to her students and the lessons go a long way.
“A lot of our kids don’t fit the typical mold,” Tuttle told Daily Breeze. “So, it’s a good message for them that it’s okay to be different and to be proud of who they are.”
