TBM Avengers take flight Friday night

 
PERU – The TBM Avengers reunion takes flight on Friday into Saturday in Peru at the Illinois Valley Regional Airport.
A group of four WW2 era T-6 aircraft will kick off the commemorative weekend with a Friday night air show along with live music and food. On Saturday, the TBM Avengers Committee plans on doing something new this year by honoring veterans who have passed with a missing man formation aircraft show with each veteran’s flag on the flight.

Those looking to honor their relatives can bring their funeral flag to the volunteer tent Saturday morning. A Veteran’s parade will follow in the afternoon.
