PRINCETON – Mobile food vendors will continue to be allowed in the city of Princeton, but now under proposed new guidelines. The long winded debate on food trucks continued at Princeton’s City Council meeting on Monday. The ordinance will place mobile food vendors at specific public locations like Bicentennial Drive, Rotary Park and Soldiers and Sailors Park. The Council and the Mayor stated these locations are ideal for a food truck being near parks with picnic benches. With permission of business owners, food trucks could also operate on private property.
