MENDOTA – The newly formed Mendota Environmental Club had their first outing Saturday morning. A group of seven area volunteers gathered armed with bags and rubber gloves to walk around Lake Mendota and pick up litter. Mendota teen Abby Davis joined six others in collecting a garbage bag and a half of waste. For information about the group, visit Mendota Environmental Club on Facebook.
