Alyssa Dewitt was on the beach with her kids one afternoon when she noticed arms waving in the water.
Strong rip currents in Lake Michigan has pulled three kids, all under the age of 15, further and further from shore. Alyssa bolted into the water and managed to rescue the children in the knick of time.
“I am so thankful I was where I was at,” Alyssa Dewitt said. “I don’t know if they would have gotten out alive if I had not seen them.”
