On top of a car crash already being a horrifying scene for everyone involved, it’s worse when your pet winds up fleeing from the accident and doesn’t return.
It’s a scary situation you don’t wish on an enemy.
Tilly, a border collie mix, was ejected from a car during a crash in Idaho and ran far from the scene.
Tilly belongs to Linda Oswald and her family, who posted on Facebook after the accident in hopes they’d be reunited.
The post reached a farm about a mile and a half from the accident. Two brothers on the farm, Travis and Zane Potter, noticed something strange.
“The sheep were getting scared… all our dogs were freaking out,” Travis told the local news station.
“I think that dog was trying to herd.”
Low and behold, Tilly was reunited with her family. She lost a little weight but was otherwise healthy.
