Streator Police report possible vandalism at old Sherman School

STREATOR – Friday evening Streator Police were alerted by a caller claiming that individuals were breaking out windows at the old Sherman School on East Elm Street in Streator.  Authorities say they arrived after 7:15 PM but were unable to locate the suspects the person who reported the incident described as kids.  There was no indication from Streator Police on if any damage was noted, but the matter remains under investigation.
