OTTAWA – LaSalle County Sheriff Tom Templeton gave an emotional last radio call as he officially retired Wednesday after 23 years as Sheriff.
New Sheriff Adam Diss was appointed his successor and will hold the position until the County Board selects an individual to finish the remaining 18 months of the term.
