OTTAWA – LaSalle County Board Chairman Don Jensen took retiring Sheriff Tom Templeton’s suggestion, and the full board approved the appointment of 45-year-old Adam Diss as his successor. Sheriff Diss will complete the remaining time on Templeton’s term, due to end in the fall of 2022. The LaSalle County native has been a member of the force since 2018.
