DIXON – A man accused of multiple arsons was arrested after a pursuit in Lee County on Thursday. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office say that Thursday afternoon they were called to multiple rural addresses for a report of a man in a white van attempting to start fires. Authorities determined this was the same individual, identified as 35-year-old Randall S. Stiles of Yorkville, who allegedly attempted to start a fire at a Wal-Mart in Kendall County. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office located Stiles driving on Illinois Route 38 and according to them had to deploy spike strips to disable the vehicle. Stiles was charged with Driving Under the Influence, Fleeing, and multiple Arson charges. He is being held at the DeKalb County Jail.
