STREATOR – An overdose awareness walk will be this weekend in Streator. Folks are encouraged to walk in honor of loved ones lost to drug overdose, celebrate lives saved and offer hope to those still suffering. The walk and fellowship opportunity begins from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. This year there will be a bake sale with all proceeds goings to an overdose awareness organization as well as a speaker, Johnny W of Chicago Hope Dealers. In the event of rain, the gathering will relocate to the Streator Armory at 409 W Bridge Street.
