HENNEPIN – Damage was said to be minimal after a fire at an ethanol and grain handling facility in north central Illinois. Around 5 AM Wednesday the 7 box alarm incident brought 18 fire departments and 6 EMS teams to Marquis Energy located one mile north of Hennepin. They are the largest dry-mill ethanol facility in the United States. No injuries were reported and operations have resumed at the plant.
