PERU – LaSalle-Peru Township High School put out a statement over the weekend regarding fan behavior at athletic events. In a letter to the community by Superintendent Dr. Steven R. Wrobleski, he expressed his disappointment in the actions that he witnessed on Friday at the football game against Sycamore High School. Reportedly, a small number of those in attendance began allegedly yelling and berating coaching staff and officials. Wrobleski stated that will no longer be tolerated and those that do not act respectful win or lose will be ejected from the game and possibly denied admission to future school events.
