PERU – The city of Peru raised over $12,000 for Cops for Cancer through a golf outing charity event. Kim Reese, Director of Human Resources and event organizer, along with the Health and Wellness Committee, says the success was due to the attendance of 100 golf players.
The funds, $12,571 in total, will go directly to local families and community members impacted by cancer.
