County unemployment rates lower in the month of September

 
UNDATED – County unemployment rates for the month of September have dropped by a percentage or more. Last month, unemployment in LaSalle County was up to nearly 7%, now it has dropped down to 5%. Bureau and Putnam county dropped by a percentage point, now averaging 4%. Statewide unemployment decreased at well, now at 6.8%, much less than this time last year, at over 10%.
