Grand Ridge asking for grant support

GRAND RIDGE – The mayor of Grand Ridge is asking for village residents to write a short letter or email in support of a project to improve the community. The North Central Illinois Council of Governments could be giving Grand Ridge a grant to renovate the village hall and demolish a building to turn into a city plaza. They also would be requesting lighting added to main street. Mayor Kay Hines is hoping residents write a short paragraph and send it to the North Central Illinois Council of Governments about how they feel the project would enhance the community.
