DEPUE – A fire Saturday evening destroyed a Depue home. Around 7:45 PM the DePue Fire Department was called to the 1200 block of North Avenue for a fully involved fire. A Mutual Aid Box Alarm was called and over a dozen area departments responded to support the crews battling the blaze that took about three hours to extinguish. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
