MENDOTA – Authorities are looking for information as to who may have taken a handgun in Mendota from a vehicle that was reported stolen. In the early morning hours of Sunday they say a vehicle theft occurred in the city, and when the vehicle was recovered later a black semi-automatic handgun was missing. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Mendota Police Department.
