STREATOR – One person is dead after an alleged home invasion in Streator on Sunday.According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department, with the assistance of Streator Police Department and the Illinois State Police, they investigated a home invasion reported on Sunday morning in the 1600 block of S. Bloomington Street. Police say the incident resulted in the shooting death of one individual who reportedly did not live at the residence.
The incident is being investigation and is believed to be isolated. At this time the identity of those involved are not being released by authorities. They say there is no immediate danger to the public.
