DEPUE – New leadership will be coming to the DePue Fire Department after a pair of retirements were announced. Longtime Chief Steve Rauh and Assistant Fire Chief Walter Klimaszewski have announced they will be stepping down. Rauh has been Chief since 2004 in the village, after starting with the department 46 years ago in 1975. Klimaszewski joined the ranks in 1983. A planned retirement dinner is planned later this spring for both men.
