Mendota to add extra hours at burn pit for holiday tree disposal

MENDOTA – The City of Mendota will add an additional day to use the city burn pit to dispose of Christmas Trees.  The City Council announced Monday night that the burn pit off of 1st Ave will be open January 8th from 10 AM – 1 PM for Christmas Trees and other natural burnable refuse, like wreaths.
