MENDOTA – The replacement of Mendota Police Department vehicles will be delayed, with one SUV still not being delivered. At the Monday night Mendota City Council Meeting Police Chief Gregory Kellen said the last of four 2021 Dodge Durangos would be delivered sometime in 2022. The delay, he said, was attributed to a chip shortage, and that also will put on hold ordering any new vehicles for the department until September.
