LASALLE – Warm weather is around the corner and the city of LaSalle will soon see special requests from businesses to crank up the music for outdoor bands. Last night, the LaSalle City Council tabled two special requests from local businesses to allow the increase of decibels for various events over the summer until they review the city’s ordinance. City Attorney Jim McPhedran says the ordinance may allow exceptions for businesses with special use requests however, he’s not positive that’s the case, and if not, the council must decide if they want to modify the rules. City officials say it could take up to four weeks until a decision is made.
