STREATOR – A Texas woman is facing a number of charges after allegedly attempting to commit fraud at a bank in Streator on Thursday. Streator Police say they were called to the 100 block of Plaza Drive and located 46-year-old Samantha Renee Blanco of Houston. After an investigation, it was discovered she reportedly had four warrants out for her arrest from the state of Texas. In addition, she allegedly was in possession of purported Ecstasy and Heroin. Blanco is facing charges of Identity Theft, Fraud, and possibly additional drug charges. She was taken to the LaSalle County Jail pending extradition to Texas.
