JOLIET – The driver of a tractor trailer carrying cattle was seriously injured in a crash on I-80 near Joliet that caused over a dozen cows to spill onto the interstate. The Illinois State Police say the three vehicle crash eastbound around 3:40 PM Tuesday killed four cows and tied up traffic as the escaped livestock had to be rounded up. The interstate was reopened after 9:30 PM and no other injuries were reported.
