1,776 IVCC students receive Emergency Relief Funds

OGLESBY – Illinois Valley Community College announced that over $6.7 million in scholarships and grants were issued last fall and spring. Financial Aid Director Eric Johnson said 1,776 students received Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds this spring and over 800 of those students also received financial aid. Over 2500 students received Pell, MAP, loans, veteran benefits and IVCC Foundation scholarships.
“Our office is helping make higher education more accessible to students and families,” Johnson said.
