MENDOTA – The Mendota Elementary School District announced that they will resume charging for breakfast and lunch. During the pandemic, the state of Illinois was providing meals for free, however, there has been no indication that they will continue to extend that program for next school year. Breakfast will be $1.50, hot lunch will cost $2.25, which includes milk. Families that qualify are still eligible for free or reduced price meals.
