K9 Gussy retires from the Ottawa Police Department

 
OTTAWA – The Ottawa Police Department’s K9 is retiring. Ottawa Police Officer Gussy served 9 years with the department and is signing off due to health issues. Police say during her service, Gussy made an impact on illegal drugs within the community and her passion and love for the community will be missed. Gussy will continue to reside with her handler Sgt. Robert Nilles and his family. The Ottawa Police Department thanks k-9 Gussy and Milles for their service and dedication.
