U.S. Sen. Tammy Duckworth tours Marquis Energy, talks Inflation Reduction Act

 
 
HENNEPIN –  U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth toured Marquis Energy yesterday and met with U.S. Deputy Secretary of Energy, David Turk, and CEO Mark Marquis to talk about the Inflation Reduction Act. After the tour, Senator Duckworth said the work that Marquis has done to move us towards a carbon-neutral future is critical not just for the environment but for economic growth in the region.

Last year, Marquis began drilling its first 5,000-foot test well to determine the total capacity available for carbon sequestration and announced plans for the Marquis Industrial Complex to be the world’s first carbon-neutral industrial complex with on-site carbon injection.
