Woman spends $4,000 to go to Hawaii to scatter the ashes…of her hamster

 
A woman from the U.K. named Lisa Murray-Lang is planning a $4,000 trip to Hawaii to scatter the ashes of a loved one, her hamster Spud.  During Covid lockdowns she built little “sets” for Spud to explore.  One of them was of Hawaii and she says that was his favorite, he loved the sand and it’s the perfect send-off.
She plans to take his ashes down to a beach, play Beyoncé’s song “I Was Here” and scatter his ashes, then leave a message in the sand saying “Spud visited”.
