Streator Police investigating pedestrian struck and killed on Bloomington Street

 

STREATOR – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Bloomington Street Thursday night. The Streator Police Department say around 6 PM the individual was taken to OSF Center for Health where they was pronounced dead. Bloomington Street northbound around the 1700 block was closed for around two hours. The incident remains under investigation by the Illinois State Police and the Streator Police Department. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
