OTTAWA – The LaSalle County Adult Detention Facility has been awarded its first accreditation status from the American Correctional Association. Sheriff Adam Diss noted that the accreditation is an essential milestone in the facility’s growth and success. To earn the honor, they had to prove compliance with 138 standards created by the nationally recognized American Correctional Association.
