DeKalb County Sheriff’s K9 to get donation of body armor

SYCAMORE – The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office K9 Colt will receive a bullet and stab protective vest thanks to a charitable donation from non-profit organization. Colt will soon be outfitted by Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. Each vest has a value of $1800 and comes with a five-year warranty. Delivery is expected within eight to ten weeks.
