65-year-old airlifted after gun incident in LaSalle

 
LASALLE – A 65-year-old man was airlifted to a regional hospital after suffering a gunshot wound Wednesday in LaSalle. The LaSalle Police Department say they were called around 11:15 AM to a business in the 600 block of 1st Street for someone who they say was shot in the leg. Authorities have said they believe the incident was accidental and that there is no threat to the public. A 63-year-old individual was interviewed by police and the matter remains under investigation by the LaSalle Police Department and the LaSalle County State’s Attorney’s Office.
