Bloomington Police involved in shooting

 
BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police Officers shot a suspect after a call Thursday evening. Authorities say they were called to the 900 block of Turnberry Drive for an allegedly armed subject around 9:30 PM. While en route, the subject reportedly had fired a weapon. When officers arrived, they fired upon the individual, striking them. The suspect was taken to an area hospital with a gunshot wound. The investigation is ongoing by the Illinois State Police and the Bloomington Police Department.
