Peru Aldermanic races settled

PERU – The Peru Alderman seat races were settled last night in the consolidated election. Incumbant Jeffrey Ballard retained his 1st Ward spot, while Dave Waldorf failed to keep his, losing to Rick O’Sadnick for the 3rd Ward seat. In the 2nd Ward Tom Payton fended off a challenger in a narrow race, and Andrew Moreno will be a new member of the council representing the 4th Ward. Results won’t be certified across the state until two weeks after Tuesday.
