MENDOTA – No injuries were reported but a man was briefly trapped in a mobile home after storms knocked a tree onto the structure. First responders were called to the 100 block of 13 Ave around 6:30 Wednesday morning. High winds swept across north central Illinois and caused multiple severe weather warnings to be issued by the National Weather Service. There were reports of other structures damaged, including a garage collapse in Mendota.
